José Miguel Pérez Sierra takes the tributes to Usandizaga with orchestral version of the Quartet on Basque popular songs (1904), one of the first approaches of donostiarra composer folklore of their land. His third movement, Modéré, preludiará the premiere of the latest creation of another great Basque symphonist, Angel Illarramendi. The Symphony No. 9, in one movement, «makes his own life journey of the most balanced and happy as possible, as all that is born and dies.» Complete program‘s Symphony No. 7 in D minor by Antonin Dvorak. Destined to premiere in London but with an unmistakable bohemian grounds, Dvorak compared the first movement of this symphony with «the arrival of a festive train bringing our farmers Pest».
