Maxim Mironov, whose voice possesses a unique warm tone and a slight elegance even in the highest pitches, is paying his tribute to one of the greatest tenors of all times: Giovanni Battista Rubini, for whom many composers in the bel canto era had written wonderful yet roughly high and difficult arias. Together with works by Rossini, Donizetti, and Bellini, he will present at least four pieces which have never been played before, including composers such as Niedermayer, Balducci, and Pacini.
